EP 15 Harvard-Westlake and USA Water Polo Coach Brian Flacks
Since 2011 Brian Flacks has served as the head coach of the Harvard-Westlake Varsity Boys' Water Polo Team. In that time the Wolverines have won 4 CIF Titles, 7 League Championships, and Coach Flacks has been named Division 1 Coach of the Year 5 times. The founder of LA Premier Water Polo Club, Coach Flacks has also served as a coach for the USA Water Polo U-18 National Team and received the USA Water Polo Men's Coaching Award in 2015 and 2019. Coach Flacks joins the show to talk about his time as a player, where he was a standout attacker at Harvard-Westlake himself before playing at UCLA and Loyola Marymount University, his journey to coaching, and his continued growth as a coach and educator.
