The 2021 CIF Division 1 Champion Harvard-Westlake Girls' Soccer Coach Richard Simms joins the podcast to talk about his 20+ years of experience coaching girls' soccer at both the high school and club level. In addition to being named the 2006, 2010, and 2021 CIF Girls Soccer Coach of the Year, and the 2012 California State Coach of the Year, Richard has also worked as a coach and director of club development with Los Angeles Breakers F.C., Real So Cal S.C., and Westside Breakers S.C. Winning prestigious club titles in the ECNL, as well as CIF titles with Harvard-Westlake, Richard discusses his coaching philosophies, the differences between club and high school soccer, and even his experience coaching phenom soccer stars Alyssa and Gisele Thompson.
